DragonTent was not born out of the desire to create just another tent. I once managed to work and live behind the Arctic Circle for a few years. There was a habit of sharing one of the teachings of survival, in case you were on foot on your way to a point farther away, and a snowstorm should lose you. Came to dig yourself under the snow...
Perhaps it was this experience that made you think about how to provide people with a warm, safe and comfortable place to rest in situations where a normal tent is not enough.
Working over the years with insulated structures and sandwich panel solutions for buildings, the question arose: Why have portable shelters remained the same in their essence, even though people's expectations of comfort and protection have changed, and materials and their use have evolved? The traditional tent protects against the weather, but does not always offer conditions for a quality holiday. Cold, moisture and an uncomfortable sleeping environment can make staying a challenge.
DragonTent's goal was to create something more - a well thought-out insulated sleeping capsule that combines the insulation properties of buildings, bed comfort, fast installation and portability. Each detail is created with one goal: so that people can rest better and feel protected regardless of location or season.
Dragontent sleeping capsules are made in Estonia, which is a small Nordic country with its 1.3 million. with a resident and where more than half of the land is covered by forests. Nearly a thousand bears live here, hundreds of wolves and lynxes, and one of Europe's oldest nations, whose connection with nature has persisted through millennia. King Sven II of Denmark (Svend Estridsen 1019-76a.) knew to speak that the Estonians worship the dragons. The symbol of the dragon carries power, protection, wisdom and endurance. These values have had us through the ages.
The name DragonTent carries the ancient Nordic spirit - respect for the forces of nature and the desire to create a protective and reliable shelter around man.
